In the evening, enjoy our 6-course evening menu from our open show kitchen in the Dorfhus and take the opportunity during the day to get to know the beautiful Appenzeller Vorderland.
Spend a relaxing night in one of our comfortable double rooms, which are furnished with high-quality materials and special embroideries and textiles (other categories can also be booked for an extra charge), and indulge in a balanced breakfast, with a regional selection of delicacies.
DORFHUS BRUNCH
Every first Sunday of the month between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., we host a brunch with everything your heart desires. Here’s a sneak peek at our ever-changing menu:
Oysters, “Dorfhus-style” Eggs Benedict, marinated Swiss salmon, perfectly grilled entrecôte, and many other grilled specialties.
Included per person are a glass of Crémant, a hot beverage, orange juice, water, and the full Flying Buffet.

The Dorfhus Gupf
Since July 2020, the new building with its special charisma in a modern and at the same time traditional style creates a calming, personal atmosphere in the middle of the village of Rehetobel. On the hand-painted house facade you can recognize the attention to detail from afar and at the same time the rosehip, which is the sign of Dorfhus Gupf, runs through the tastefully furnished rooms. There you can also discover other specialties such as wall and ceiling paintings, unique embroideries and homemade specialties in the Lädeli. A lot of wood and high-quality materials create an exceptional indoor climate, in which you will certainly feel comfortable.
GASTHAUS TO THE GUPF
A very special gourmet experience. Stay overnight and have breakfast in the newly built Dorfhus, and, later, enjoy Walter Klose’s cuisine at the Gasthaus Zum Gupf.
